love

I've never been in love, and neither have you. In high school you don't know how to fall in love with someone. Just cause they hook up with you on the weekends does not mean they love you.

Robots

In high school we are all robots, there is no denying. You come to school everyday at the same time you go to the same classes with the same teachers. You sit in the same seat next to the same people. You talk about the same subjects. You talk to the same friends every day. You go home at 2:15 you do homework or go to practice. Then you watch Netflix or go to work. On the weekends you go to the football game with the same friends on Sundays you go to church 11-2 every Sunday then when Monday comes you do it all again. We are all robots doing the same thing.

River Runs Deep

He was only 19 but the river runs deep.
Wrote songs in his head so he didn't need to speak,
Wrote about the crushed up pills that he took in one week.
One week turned to two,
two weeks turned to four,
now there's a long term addiction knocking at his door.
He started losing weight getting drunk coming late,
His family and friends said he was up to something got to the point where he couldn't even function.
He then got evicted and now he has nothing, The river runs deep.

New York

New York the greatest city on earth, the city that never sleeps, the big apple. The Yankees, jets and Knicks. Derek Jeter and Joe Namath. The people, tall buildings, Time Square, Central Park, and the twin towers. Every movie seems to be based in New York all the stars live there. Every body makes it big in New York you hear the stories of the city but not what happens behind the scenes. You go to a ball game with your family you see the team under the lights the field the crowd. But you don't see the man that cleans the stadium after the game. But he sees you he works every night cleaning for hours. Walks home after the game to his small apartment where he hasn't made his rent payment in weeks. He walks the street alone only wanting a family he can watch the T.V. with and laugh, but until then he's the dark knight starring bar fights it's a hard life.

Everything is not as it seems.

Different

Can't you see we are robots who know not what we do when we got no shot in the real world until we climb out of this ice cold box. Your whole life has been a part of a whole plot. To keep you at the bottom while they are on top, stay quiet, then they won't stop. They are always trying to show us what we don't got.

Focus on your life and the path you're pursuing. Stop worrying about what Kim Kardashian is doing.

Be different.

Crayons

Crayons are overrated,
I never want to use a crayon again,
life is better with out crayons,
I'm happy I out grew crayons,
I never want to use them again,
and neither should you,
but if you still want to color,
try a marker.

REMOTES

Why do I need so many remotes?

I just want one remote.

One remote to rule them all.

One remote to control everything.

One remote that won't get lost.

A universal remote.

We all should have a universal remote.
